Plumlee, Blazers not in extension talks
I guess Plumlee and Olshey aren't talking about an extension. I wonder what that means for the trade deadline.
Dame's Secret Coach, Brian Barkdoll
After Damian Lillard scored 39 points Tuesday in the Trail Blazers’ season-opening win over Utah, he noted that summer workouts with a special, mystery coach played a role in his performance. "That’s my special secret,’’ Lillard said Tuesday night when pressed for the name and background of the coach. "I will tell you guys at a later date.’’ Turns out, the mystery coach might not be much of a mystery to Portlanders. His name is Brian Barkdoll, a 27-year-old video assistant for the Blazers, who graduated from Central Catholic in 2007 after being named the MVP of the Mt. Hood Conference.

Don't Sleep on Noah Vonleh
The kid has looked great in limited preseason action, and the Blazers are still looking for the ideal "Stretch 4." Seems like Vonleh could fluorish as a second-unit power forward, with the potential for switching with AC defensively.

Do you like the new "theater lighting" at Moda?
I went to the first preseason game last night, and noticed that they have seemed to go to the "theater lighting" that you see at Lakers and Nets games, where most of the crowd is in the dark, while the court is lit up.

Predicting Terry Stotts' Rotations
I've been running through potential rotations for about a month and my main conclusion is that it's a good thing I'm not Terry Stotts.
