Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is set to make his long-anticipated return from suspension on Monday as the Warriors face the Memphis Grizzlies. Green was suspended in mid-December, 2023 for striking Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the face. The suspension, at first termed “indefinite” was lifted on January 6th, but Green has not yet returned to action.

ESPN’s Kendra Andrews is reporting that Green will take the court again on Martin Luther King Day, citing sources conveying information to fellow ESPN writer Adrian Wojnarowski.

Green has now missed 16 games for the Warriors since the suspension was administered. The team has gone 8-8 in that span.

Green has averaged 9.7 points. 5.5 rebounds, and 5.8 assists in 15 appearances for the Warriors so far this season, playing 25.1 minutes per game.
