When the Phoenix Suns play the Portland Trail Blazers tonight, they will do so without one of their key players, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

Suns star Kevin Durant is out tonight vs. Trail Blazers due to right hamstring soreness.

Durant, 35, is coming off a 31-point performance last night against the Orlando Magic at home, but he won’t play in the second half of the back-to-back for the Suns. Durant joins former Blazers forward Nassir Little and Damion Lee on the sidelines for Phoenix. Josh Okogie is probable to play.

Meanwhile, the Blazers will be sitting Robert Williams III, Deandre Ayton and Anfernee Simons tonight. Kris Murray and Duop Reath are doubtful, while Shaedon Sharpe and Toumani Camara are considered questionable for tonight’s contest.

The Blazers and Suns are set to tip off at 6 p.m. PT inside the Footprint Center. The game can be watched on Root Sports.
