The Rip City Remix split a two-game homestand against the Delaware Blue Coats over the weekend, winning 126-122 in overtime on Saturday, before falling 130-117 on Sunday.

Portland Trail Blazers rookie Kris Murray, on assignment with the G League affiliate, registered 22 points, seven rebounds and two steals in Saturday’s OT win, which saw the Remix overcome a 17-point first-half deficit. The game marked Murray’s second straight G League game scoring over 20 points on 62.5% shooting.

Murray cooled off in the second matchup versus the Blue Coats, going 5-of-15 from the field and 0-of-5 on 3-pointers for 12 points, to go along with 11 rebounds.

Portland’s 2023 second-round draft pick Rayan Rupert had a tough shooting performance over the weekend. In the first game, Rupert shot 5-of-17 for 12 points, adding nine rebounds and three assists. Rupert followed that up in Sunday’s game with just two points on 1-of-8 shooting and four rebounds in 28 minutes.

Continuing his campaign back in Portland, former Trail Blazer Maurice Harkless added four points, two rebounds and two assists on Saturday. He put up five points, four rebounds and one assist on Sunday.

Representing the Blue Coats, the G League affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers, Kenny Lofton Jr. led all scorers with a 31-point double-double on Saturday. On Sunday, Lofton almost secured a triple-double, recording 11 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists.

The Remix play next on Thursday, Jan. 4 against the Salt Lake City Stars on the road.
