The Portland Trail Blazers and San Antonio Spurs will be without some key players tonight.

NBA: San Antonio Spurs at Portland Trail Blazers Troy Wayrynen-USA TODAY Sports

The San Antonio Spurs and Portland Trail Blazers will play their second game against each other in as many nights when the two teams tip off at the Moda Center.

However, the teams will line up a little differently than they did last night. The Spurs will be without their top player, according to San Antonio Express-News reporter Jeff McDonald.

As expected, Victor Wembanyama will not play in tonight’s b2b closer at Portland. Official reason is “rest.”It is a team decision and not a Vic decision, I’m told. Though Vic feels fine, med staff wants to reduce strain on the right ankle he has rolled three times this month.

The Spurs will also be without Charles Bassey, who is out for the year with a torn ACL.

Meanwhile, the Blazers will be without a host of players, according to 1080 The Fan’s Danny Marang.

Blazers announce that:

Anfernee Simons, Shaedon Sharpe, Deandre Ayton & Duop Reath are all OUT tonight vs Spurs Toumani Camara is QUESTIONABLE with a right thumb injury and Jabari Walker is PROBABLE with a right thumb injury.

The Spurs and Blazers are set to tip off at 7 p.m. PT inside the Moda Center.
