The Phoenix Suns are set to visit the Portland Trail Blazers tomorrow, but when they take the court, they will do so without one of their top players, according to NBA insider Chris Haynes.

Phoenix Suns say Bradley Beal (ankle sprain) to miss next two weeks and will be re-evaluated at the start of January.

This means that Beal not only will miss Tuesday night’s game, but he will also likely be out for the next meeting between the two teams on Monday, Jan. 1, which is two weeks from today.

Beal, 30, has struggled to stay healthy for the Suns this season. After being traded by the Washington Wizards to Phoenix over the offseason, Beal has played in just six games this season for the Suns and their record has suffered from his absence.

After being seen as one of the top contenders in the West this year, the Suns are just 14-12 and sit 10th in the conference.

Tipoff between the Suns and Blazers is scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m. PT.
