The Rip City Remix now has a player that some fans may be familiar with, according to Rose City Report’s Sean Highkin.
The Rip City Remix have claimed Terence Davis II off waivers, I’m told.
Davis, 26, played in 64 regular season games with the Sacramento Kings last season, averaging 6.7 points and 2.2 rebounds on .423/.366/.791 shooting.
Davis has four years of NBA experience and is looking to return to the league after not signing a contract over the offseason. Davis signed a standard NBA G League contract and immediately went on waivers. The Portland Trail Blazers’ affiliate, the Remix, claimed him. However, the Blazers do not have his NBA rights. This means he can sign a contract with another team if anyone wishes to do so.
The Remix is back in action tonight against G League Ignite. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. PT on ESPNU.
