The Portland Trail Blazers are heading into December winning three of their last four games, and now they have an opportunity to win more in a calmer month.
Here’s a look at the schedule for the month of December:
The Blazers finish their road trip with two games against the Utah Jazz and Golden State Warriors. Then, Portland plays nine of its remaining 11 games for the month at home. The only time the team will have to travel is on Dec. 11 against the LA Clippers and Dec. 23 against the Warriors.
The Warriors pop up on the schedule three times in a 17-day span, and each game should provide a strong litmus test for the Blazers.
The Blazers will also have to play the Dallas Mavericks twice, but there are some winnable games on the schedule for Portland.
The team should have a good opportunity to win one or both of the Jazz contests and the San Antonio Spurs meetings at the end of the month on Dec. 28 and 29.
The games against the Spurs represent the second back-to-back on the schedule for the month. The team also has to play the Mavs and Warriors on consecutive nights on Dec. 16 and 17.
