The Portland Trail Blazers will face the Golden State Warriors on the road and the Dallas Mavericks at home, completing their 82-game schedule for the 2023-24 regular season. The Golden State game comes on December 6th, the Mavericks on December 8th. The Blazers will play on those days along with all other NBA teams not participating in the inaugural In-Season Tournament.

The NBA released the schedule for its non-tournament teams earlier today.

The Blazers earned a 1-3 record in tournament Group Play this year. With the Los Angeles Lakers finishing at 4-0 and the Phoenix Suns at 3-1 ahead of them, the Blazers did not qualify for tournament participation. The Suns, Lakers, New Orleans Pelicans, and Sacramento Kings will represent the Western Conference in the tournament, while the Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, and New York Knicks stand for the East.

To make room for possible tournament participation, each NBA team was assigned only 80 of 82 regular season games at the start of the year. This announcement colors in the missing spaces for the 22 teams outside the bracket. Games against other participants in the tournament itself will fill in the gaps for the teams that qualified.

Portland currently holds a 5-12 record for the season. As of publish date, the Warriors stand at 8-10, the Mavericks 11-6.
