Are we set? Or still missing a piece?

I will be the first to admit, I did not see this coming. I did not see us being an early fan favorite around the league with a team chemistry seemingly strong enough to carry us to home court advantage come playoff time. It's still a tad too early for hyperbole such as this, but you gotta admit it feels good!

Seriously, I thought our first few wins were fools gold, and I spent October waiting for the second shoe to drop. My fear being, our bigs were going to get gassed and we'd be taken to task by teams with more height and weight. Yet, so far the Blazers are showing the kind of grit and hustle I haven't seen in years! It's exciting watching this Blazers team, so much so, I didn't realize how boring Blazer basketball had been the last few seasons.

BUT, and yes a big but... I still don't think we're a finished product. I hate to say it, because I love our young guys so much, but we need to consolidate some of this youth for another quality PF/C. Nurk is not going to last the entire season, he will need some rest, and Eubanks can't be our only safety net.

So who's out there, that could fortify our front court for the low low cost of a couple younger guys and maybe a 2nd rounder to sweeten the pot? For this exercise, our starting 5 and Shaedon are off limits. And for ease, here are the current salaries of our bench:

Payton - 8.3

Little - 4.1

Winslow - 4

Nicholson - 2.8

Keon - 2.6

GB3 - 1.5

Watford - 1.5

Walker - 1.0

My idea: Get Bol Bol ($2.2). Orlando has a ton of bigs, and just drafted the front runner for Rookie of the Year, Paolo Banchero, who is a... you guessed it BIG. They have 4 Centers and 3 Power Forwards, and just paid Mo Bamba. If they are going to get their money's worth out of him, they need to clear up that log jam and give him some minutes.

Keon, GB3 and a 2nd rounder for Bol Bol? Would we need to sweeten it with Watford in place of GB3?

What's your consolidation idea to strengthen our team?
