Portland Trail Blazers’ point guard Damian Lillard has one more accolade to add to his long list of achievements: member of the Weber State Hall of Fame. According to Paul Grua of Weber State Athletics, Lillard is one of the five inducted into the Hall of Fame in the 2021 class.

Lillard’s achievements were honored at an induction banquet, and the members of the Hall of Fame Class of 2021 will also be celebrated at Weber State’s football game versus James Madison.
While at Weber State, Lillard racked up honors, including Big Sky Freshman of the Year and first-team All-Big Sky as he led the Wildcats to a conference title during his freshman campaign, which subsequently led to his being named the Big Sky Player of the Year. As a sophomore, the Wildcats secured a second conference title and Lillard earned Big Sky MVP honors. After returning from a foot injury, his final season at Weber State resulted in All-America honors, and Lillard is the only player to be named to an All-American team from the Big Sky Conference.
