ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Jimmy Butler has reached a four-year, $184 million contract extension with the Heat.
Aron Baynes’ neck injury prevented him from joining Australia for the medal ceremony. According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Baynes is suffering from severe nerve damage in his neck. The Raptors waived Baynes earlier in the offseason and his current injury could keep him out of the 2021-22 season.
According to ESPN’s Bobby Marks, the Hornets waived wing Caleb Martin prior to his contract’s guarantee date on August 15.
