Lillard Discusses Blazers’ Offseason Performance Thus Far

Damian Lillard discussed the Trail Blazers’ moves in free agency during his media availability in Tokyo.

The Trail Blazers retained Norman Powell and reached modest agreements with three new role players. Following the additions of Cody Zeller, Tony Snell, and Ben McLemore, star guard Damian Lillard discussed Portland’s moves during his media availability in Tokyo.

Basketball News contributor Chris Sheridan highlighted the comments that Lillard made. From Lillard’s perspective, the Portland landed a few targets and missed on others.

“Obviously, this go-round, we weren’t able to go out there and get some of the guys that we would have liked,” Lillard said. “You know, you go down the list and you go through the guys you like that are out there and haven’t committed to another team or that was a part of your plans in free agency and you get the ones that want to be a part of what you are doing, and I think that’s what we did.”
