This morning, the Portland Trail Blazers announced that Head Coach Chauncey Billups has finalized his coaching staff, per President of Basketball Operations Neil Olshey. Joining Billups as assistants are Scott Brooks, Roy Rogers, Edniesha Curry, Steve Hetzel, and Milt Palacio, while Parker Hines will serve as video coordinator.

Milt Palacio is the newest addition to Billups’ staff, as the others have been announced over the last few weeks. Palalcio arrives in Portland after spending time as an assistant coach with the NBA G-League’s Long Island Nets. Prior to that, he coached in the Canadian Basketball League and served at the University of Idaho as the director of player development. Palacio also serves as the head coach for the national team of Belize, as he is a dual citizen and once played for the national team.

Video coordinator Parker Hines last served as an assistant coach in the G-League for the Austin Spurs.

Welcome to Rip City, everyone!
