Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard was featured in the new ratings release for NBA 2K22. Lillard earned an overall rating of 94, tied for the eighth-highest player in this year’s edition. Lillard shares that spot with Mavericks star Luka Doncic and Nets maestro James Harden. Compared to NBA 2K21, where Lillard served as one of the cover athletes, the Blazers star finished a single point lower on his overall rating.

Blazers forward Derrick Jones Jr. is featured on the top dunk ratings list. Jones Jr. is tied with Ja Morant at a 94 overall dunk rating, which ranks the two players inside the top five.

The biggest surprise of this early release of ratings, however, may be Damian Lillard’s omission from the top five three-point shooters list.

NBA 2K22 is set to release on September 10. What do you think of this year’s ratings? Do you agree with Lillard’s placement? Are you surprised that Anfernee Simons was left off the dunk list?
