Blazers Announce Calabro’s Return, Preseason Schedule

The Portland Trail Blazers are set to return to action in early October to host the Golden State Warriors. The team announced their four-game preseason schedule on Monday. Portland’s schedule starts with a pair of home games and concludes with two road games.

Here is the schedule:

• 10/13/2021 | @Suns | 6:00 p.m. PT | ROOT Sports
• 10/15/2021 | @Warriors | 7:30 p.m. PT | ROOT Sports

Along with the preseason schedule, the Blazers announced that Kevin Calabro is set to re-join Lamar Hurd in the booth. Calabro was not part of the broadcast team for the 2020-21 season.

The 2021 preseason also serves as the Blazers’ debut on ROOT Sports. The Blazers reached a new agreement with ROOT Sports after their deal with NBC Sports Northwest concluded earlier this year. It is still unclear if ROOT Sports will reach an agreement with a widely-used streaming platform prior to the start of the season.
