Game 2 of the 2021 NBA Finals between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Phoenix Suns tips off tonight at 6:00 PM, Pacific time on ABC. Feel free to join in with all your Blazer’s Edge friends to discuss the game as it unfolds!

The Suns lead 1-0 after a convincing 118-105 victory in Game 1 on Tuesday night. The big drama headed into the game was whether two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo would play after hyperextending a knee in the Bucks’ Eastern Conference Finals series with the Atlanta Hawks. Antetokounmpo did suit up, scoring 20 points and adding 17 rebounds in 35 minutes. But even that, combined with 29 points from Bucks forward Khris Middleton (who would look great in a Portland uniform but is now all but untouchable) wasn’t enough to propel Milwaukee over Chris Paul and the Suns. Paul scored 32 on 12-19 shooting from the floor, carrying his team to a second-half surge that brought them the game. Devin Booker added 27, but shot only 8-21, 1-8 from the arc. Deandre Ayton added 22 with 19 boards.

Milwaukee lost the first game of each of their prior playoffs series, versus the Hawks and the Brooklyn Nets, but came back to win both. Can they repeat against the Suns?

Feel free to discuss the game and the playoffs here. Please respect the site’s no-profanity policy, but otherwise, have fun!
