Now that the NBA Draft has concluded, attention swings toward free agency, which kicks off August 2nd. Given that the Portland Trail Blazers need to win now in order to keep Damian Lillard happy, some interesting ideas are taking shape, according to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report. Fischer reports that the Blazers have been talking to the Toronto Raptors about Pascal Siakam.

There has also been an intriguing CJ McCollum-Pascal Siakam trade framework discussed between Portland and Toronto, though talks between the teams have yet to generate significant momentum, sources said. Rival executives believe the Raptors’ selection of Scottie Barnes seemingly reinforces Siakam’s availability for trade.

In 56 games with the Raptors in the 2020-21 season, Siakam averaged 21.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 4.5 assists alongside 1.1 steals.

Meanwhile, Fischer also reports that there are teams who want Zach Collins, including the Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs, and New Orleans Pelicans.

Oklahoma City, San Antonio, Toronto and New Orleans are known to be interested in unrestricted free-agent center Zach Collins, sources said.
