The Portland Trail Blazers added veteran point guard Emmanuel Mudiay to their Las Vegas Summer League Roster on Friday. According to Yahoo Sports NBA Insider Chris Haynes, Mudiay is set to the join the Blazers for next month’s event.
Free agent point guard Emmanuel Mudiay — the No. 7 pick in the 2015 Draft and only 25 — intends to play Summer League for the Portland Trail Blazers, league sources tell @YahooSports.
Mudiay, who was the No. 7 pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, last played with the Jazz during the 2019-20 season. Over the course of five seasons, Mudiay has appeared in 300 regular season games. He holds a career averages of 11.0 points and 3.8 assists per game. During his time with the Jazz, he averaged 15.7 minutes and 7.3 points per game.
Along with a crop of young prospects, Mudiay will join a veteran group that includes Milton Doyle and Michael Beasley on the Blazers’ roster in Las Vegas.
