Former Trail Blazers Head Coach Terry Stotts might not have to wait long for his next opportunity in the NBA. According to The New York Times NBA insider Marc Stein, the Pacers and Magic have expressed interest in Stotts.

Stein delivered two updates regarding Stotts on Saturday.

The Magic have interest in former Trail Blazers coach Terry Stotts, league sources say, after Orlando and Steve Clifford parted ways today.

Stein also revealed that the Pacers have rumored interest in the former Blazers coach.

Stotts is also said to be drawing interest from Indiana as the Pacers decide whether to retain or replace Nate Bjorkgren after Year 1. Stotts coached Portland to eight straight playoff berths and one conference finals, exiting after a disappointing first-round loss to Denver.

Stotts amassed a 402-318 regular season record over his nine seasons with the Blazers. Over that stretch, Portland qualified for the NBA Playoffs on eight occasions.
