The Portland Trail Blazers announced a series of vaccination clinics to be held around metro Portland in partnership with Multnomah County’s REACH program on Thursday via a team press release. The team will provide incentives to participants in the clinics, including posters, t-shirts, and tickets to preseason games in the 2021-22 season. Blaze the Trail Cat will also be making surprise appearances at the clinics.

“The best way to beat the COVID-19 pandemic and to pack the Moda Center stands again is to get everyone vaccinated,” said Chris McGowan, President & CEO, Portland Trail Blazers and Rose Quarter. “The three COVID-19 vaccines have proven to be safe and effective, and I am proud to stand alongside OHSU and REACH as we work to get Rip City vaccinated.”
