Kanter on Lillard’s Leadership, “He Makes Everybody Else Better”

Trail Blazers reserve center Enes Kanter praised Damian Lillard’s leadership during an appearance with Colin Cowherd.

Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard has captured the attention of the national media with his clutch performances and unbelievable production. For his teammates, Lillard’s leadership qualities garner just as much respect as his statistical contributions.

On Wednesday, center Enes Kanter praised Lillard’s contributions on The Herd with Colin Cowherd. Here is the a clip of the interview:

“What makes him so special, he makes himself better and makes everybody else around him better.”

Kanter went on to explain that Lillard’s ability to raise the game of his teammates sets him apart from other NBA stars.

Lillard and Kanter are set to take the postseason stage on Saturday for Game 1 of the Blazers-Nuggets series on ESPN.
