The Portland Trail Blazers will add Rondae Hollis-Jefferson by way of a 10-day contract, according to Dwight Jaynes of NBC Sports North West.
After clearing quarantine and returning six negative COVID-19 tests, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson plans to sign a 10-day contract with the Portland Trail Blazers Friday.
After the signings Portland will have 13 rostered players, one 10-day contract, and a pair of two-way contracts (Keljin Blevins and TJ Leaf).
The Atheltic’s Shams Charania last week broke the news that Hollis-Jefferson was coming to Portland.
Over his career, Hollis-Jefferson has averaged 9.3 points, 5.6 rebouds, and 1.9 assists following stints with the Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors.
A team can sign a player to two 10-day contracts in one season. After the second 10-day contract, the team can only retain the player by signing him for the remainder of the season.
Earlier today, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski announced the Blazers were signing TJ Leaf to a two-way contract.
