Murray went to the floor just inside the final minute of yesterday’s game. Prior to Monday’s injury, the 24-year-old guard was averaging a career-best 21.2 points per game. Last season, inside the NBA’s bubble in Orlando, Murray emerged as one of the league’s up-and-coming stars.
The Nuggets currently sit at No. 4 in the Western Conference’s standings with a 34-20 overall record. Denver returns to action on Wednesday with a matchup against the visiting Miami Heat.
