The Spurs signed center Gorgui Dieng after the big man was released from the Grizzlies. The New York Times’ Marc Stein delivered an update on the latest move on the buyout market on Monday.

Prior to adding Dieng, the Spurs cleared a roster spot by waiving Marquese Chriss. Outside of San Antonio, the Knicks waived Terrance Ferguson and Vincent Poirier. The Athletic’s Shams Charania updated the latest transactions from the Knicks on Sunday.

Ferguson, a 6-foot-6 forward who played in Australia prior to joining the NBA, landed with the Knicks in the aftermath of a three-team trade just before the deadline. In four seasons, the former Thunder first-round pick has appeared in 204 regular season contests.

The Trail Blazers, after executing a two-for-one trade with the Raptors for Norman Powell, have two open roster spots.
