Both the Trail Blazers and Lakers enter Friday’s contest in need of a win. Coach Terry Stotts’ squad is looking to avoid a four-game slide on the heels of a six-game winning streak. LeBron James and the Lakers are also looking to snap a losing streak of their own. Los Angeles enters tonight’s game on a four-game skid.
Forget the losing streaks, though. Saturday’s contest features a battle between two bonafide MVP candidates.
