Damian Lillard missed out on a starting position in the 2021 NBA All-Star Game after losing the popular vote to Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic, despite securing the approval of both NBA coaches and his fellow players. Long story short, Lillard claimed that he’s been overlooked since Middle School...through high school, college, the NBA Draft, and his first years in the league. He claimed that it used to bother him but that turning 30 has given him a new perspective. He’s neither surprised nor bothered.
