CJ McCollum’s fractured left foot will be re-evaluated on Tuesday, 31 days after the shooting guard suffered the injury against the Atlanta Hawks. The Athletic’s Jason Quick provided an update regarding McCollum’s status on Monday.

It appears that McCollum’s appointment on Tuesday is not aimed at accelerating his return to the floor, despite initial reports suggesting that he might only be out four weeks.
The injury occurred on January 16 when Hawks center Clint Capela landed on McCollum’s foot after he completed a layup at the Moda Center.
McCollum told the Ringer’s Bill Simmons earlier this month that he would see how he felt after the mid February check up, highlighting that this was his third foot-related injury.
The Blazers have recorded an 8-5 record in the 13 games that McCollum has missed. In the 13 games prior to his injury, McCollum was producing career-high figures in points per game with 26.7, three-point shooting (44 percent), assists (5) and steals (1.3).
