Former Trail Blazers guard and NBA veteran Tim Frazier has agreed to a new deal with the Grizzlies on Monday. According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Frazier is set to join the injury-depleted Grizzlies via the hardship exception.

Last week, ESPN’s Bobby Marks predicted that the Grizzlies might head down this path as the injuries continued to pile up.

Last season, Frazier appeared in 27 games (11 starts) for the Pistons. Earlier in his career, following a stellar run in the G League, Frazier appeared in 40 regular season games with the Blazers.

The Grizzlies are set to face the Lakers on Tuesday as part of a two-game series against the reigning NBA champions.
