The NBA is planning to reschedule particular postponed games during the first half of the season, reports Sham Charania of the Athletic, and the Portland Trail Blazers will face the Washington Wizards on February 2nd as part of a road swing on the East Coast. Their game at Charlotte on the same road trip will be postponed until the second half of the season.
NBA will reschedule certain postponed games in first half of the season -- instead of the second half.

Changes:
- Blazers-Wizards: Feb. 2, (previously second half)
- Wizards-Hornets: Feb. 7 (previously Jan. 20)
- Blazers-Hornets Feb. 7: postponed to second half
The shuffle leaves the number of games on the East Coast trip at six; the road swing starts January 28th against Houston, before the Blazers play the Chicago Bulls on January 30th, followed by the Milwaukee Bucks on February 1st. The scheduling of the Wizards game means that the Blazers are now facing a road back-to-back. From Washington, Portland will face the Philadelphia 76ers on February 4th before rounding out the road trip on February 6th against the New York Knicks. The reschedule does buy the Blazers some time on at the end of the road swing, as their next home game after their East Coast jaunt is versus the Orlando Magic on February 9th.
This is unlikely to be the last rescheduled game for the first half of the season, so stay tuned for more updates.
