Sunday’s game between the Portland Trail Blazers and New York Knicks at the Moda Center will now begin at 7 p.m. PT, according to a team press release.
Per the release,
PORTLAND, Ore. (January 21, 2021) – The Portland Trail Blazers game against the Knicks on Sunday, January 24 will now start at 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time, the NBA announced today.
The game will still be televised by NBC Sports Northwest (NBCSNW), the Official Network of the Portland Trail Blazers, and aired on flagship station NBCSNW Rip City Radio AM-620 and the Deschutes Brewery Trail Blazers Radio Network.
The game was originally scheduled to start at 6 p.m. PT.
Sunday’s game will be the Blazers’ first outing since being downed by the San Antonio Spurs on January 18. Games against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday and Friday nights were postponed because of Health and Safety protocols, with the Grizzlies undergoing contact tracing for COVID-19.
Sunday’s game will be New York’s third of a four-game West Coast swing.
