Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum will host a talk show called “Remaking America: A Conversation” for the PlayersTV media network, according to John Ourand of Sports Business Journal. McCollum’s show will focus on social issues and include discussions with “athletes, politicians, community leaders and activists”:
Trail Blazers G CJ McCollum will host a talk show called “Remaking America: A Conversation” for PlayersTV, the media network in which he also is an investor. McCollum is listed as an exec producer on the show, which will appear on the network alongside content like the docuseries “Swingman” about Baseball HOFer Ken Griffey Jr., who also is an investor. “Remaking America” will focus on social issues like education reform through interviews with athletes, politicians, community leaders and activists.
The news was announced alongside a carriage deal between PlayersTV and cable streaming service Sling. The network will focus on “athletes’ lifestyles and culture”:
