The Warriors, who missed the postseason this year, received a boost in the form of Klay Thompson’s return to the practice floor. On Friday, during Golden State’s mini camp, the sharp-shooting wing took part in drills and other exercises.

Thompson missed the entire 2019-20 season after suffering an ACL injury in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals. The 30-year-old wing averaged 21.5 points per game in the regular season that preceded his injury.
The Warriors, who added former Timberwolves forward Andrew Wiggins before the trade deadline, are in position to reclaim a top position in the ultra-competitive Western Conference.
