The Portland Trail Blazers have created an Oregon Wildfire Relief resource page for people looking to donate funds to those affected by wildfires in the state. A statement from the team on the resource guide reads:
We are devastated by the wildfires that are affecting our state and the entire west coast. Our hearts are with those directly impacted, and we are very thankful for the many brave men and women putting their lives on the line to contain these fires. There are a number of local organizations providing aid to our neighbors and impacted communities in Oregon. Please donate if you’re able and share with others who are interested in contributing.
One linked fund is the American Red Cross:
Donations support the work the American Red Cross is providing to families that have been displaced or impacted by the active wildfires.
Another link is associated with the MRG Foundation:
Donations will go directly to help and support individuals most impacted by the fires in the Rogue Valley. Funds will be used to buy tents, meals, gas, and other supplies as they are needed.
United Way is also one of the linked funds:
Donations will support nonprofits and community organizations assisting individuals who have been impacted as a result of the 2020 fires.
And the fourth link is connected to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation:
The Wildland Firefighter Foundation’s main focus is to help the families of firefighters killed in the line of duty and to assist injured firefighters and their families.
