The Los Angeles Clippers blew a 3-1 series lead and fell in Game 7 to the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday after being considered one of this year’s top title contenders. The entire basketball world took notice of LA’s collapse, including Portland Trail Blazers players Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum. Portland’s backcourt unleashed a series of digs at the Clippers following Game 7. Enjoy the carnage below:

The Blazers’ reaction to LA’s loss can be linked to the Clippers’ antics during the seeding games. When the two teams played against each other, Damian Lillard went to the free throw line for two shots while only down one point. However, the Blazers star missed both shots, sealing LA’s win.
Clippers guard Patrick Beverley, who didn’t even play in the game, mocked Lillard from the bench after the free throw misses:

After the game, Lillard said of Beverley, “I sent him home before at the end of a game.” Beverley then commented on an Instagram post with the caption “Cancun on 3” regarding the Blazers’ chances in the playoffs.
This mini-feud also involved Paul George, another victim of Lillard’s in the past:

Perhaps now the two teams can get together in Cancun to watch the Nuggets face off against the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals.
