The Trail Blazers are currently slated to make two selection on the night of the 2020 NBA Draft. Inside the first round, Portland will make their first pick at No. 16. In Bleacher Report’s latest 2020 NBA Mock Draft, Jonathan Wasserman has the Blazers looking to the wing.

Citing his offensive versatility, Wasserman placed Vanderbilt sharpshooter Aaron Nesmith on the Blazers’ radar.

The Blazers could look to continue surrounding their core scorers with shooters by drafting Nesmith to join Gary Trent Jr. Though he only lasted 14 games, Nesmith’s 52.2 percent three-point mark and off-ball shot-making versatility appeared highly convincing.

Nesmith, a 6-foot-6 forward, averaged 4.3 three-pointers per game in 14 outings as a sophomore under Head Coach Jerry Stackhouse. The South Carolina native’s season was cut short after he suffered a stress fracture in his foot.
