Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has claimed the NBA KIA Defensive Player of the Year award for 2019-2020. Antetokounmpo beat out Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers and Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz for the honor. Those three shared the bulk of first-place votes, with Bam Adebayo, Ben Simmons, Patrick Beverley, and Andre Drummond also earning at least one.
