Portland Trail Blazers big man Zach Collins has been diagnosed with a “left ankle Malleolar stress reaction” and will be reevaluated in one week, the team announced Wednesday. Collins first sustained the injury against the Memphis Grizzlies in last Saturday’s play-in game and sat out Game 1 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Wenyen Gabriel earned a spot in the Blazers’ starting lineup against L.A. with Collins out. Portland currently has a 1-0 series lead after Tuesday’s victory. Game 2 against the Lakers is Thursday.
