The Portland Trail Blazers will be without forward Nassir Little for at least the next two weeks after he suffered a syncopal episode (fainted) at a voluntary shootaround on August 12:
The team announces that @2ez_nassie had a "syncopal episode," meaning he fainted at some point, and is out for at least the next two weeks.

Little had missed the last several games due to dehydration, which was diagnosed after the episode:
He was diagnosed with dehydration after the syncopal episode, which I suppose means the two are related. The team announced other tests came back negative. https://t.co/C6kqbcvL4y

Hopefully this is nothing serious, and he’ll be back normal soon. Little is averaging 3.6 points and 2.3 rebounds in his first NBA season.
