The Portland Trail Blazers will be without forward Nassir Little for at least the next two weeks after he suffered a syncopal episode (fainted) at a voluntary shootaround on August 12:
The team announces that @2ez_nassie had a "syncopal episode," meaning he fainted at some point, and is out for at least the next two weeks.— Casey Holdahl (@CHold) August 18, 2020
Little had missed the last several games due to dehydration, which was diagnosed after the episode:
He was diagnosed with dehydration after the syncopal episode, which I suppose means the two are related. The team announced other tests came back negative. https://t.co/C6kqbcvL4y— Casey Holdahl (@CHold) August 18, 2020
Hopefully this is nothing serious, and he’ll be back normal soon. Little is averaging 3.6 points and 2.3 rebounds in his first NBA season.
