Wizards star Bradley Beal and Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie became the latest players to announce that they will not be a part of the NBA’s Orlando-based restart. On Tuesday, The Athletic’s Shams Charania delivered the news regarding both players.

Citing a shoulder injury, Beal has opted out of the restart.

The Wizards currently trail the Magic and Nets in the race for the final two postseason spots in the Eastern Conference. Along with Beal, upcoming unrestricted free agent Davis Bertans has opted against joining Washington in Orlando.

Dinwiddie, who tested positive for coronavirus previously, was unable to produce a negative test on Monday. Along with another positive test, Dinwiddie is still experiencing symptoms.

Nets center DeAndre Jordan has also opted out of the NBA’s restart following a positive coronavirus test.

The Trail Blazers conclude their eight-game schedule in Orlando with a matchup against the Nets on Aug. 13.
