The 2019-20 NBA season is scheduled to resume on Thursday, marking the end to a long journey for the league to restart play after suspending play in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. On the eve of the restart, the league announced that there’s been no positive COVID-19 tests since results were last released on July 20:

This is the second consecutive round of testing in the bubble that has yielded no positive cases. The last results announced on July 20 also had no reported cases since July 13.

The NBA’s first seeding game on Thursday will feature the New Orleans Pelicans versus the Utah Jazz at 3:30 p.m. PT, followed by a matchup between the Lakers and Clippers.
