The Portland Trail Blazers will wear a jersey patch for the remainder of the season in honor of late franchise founder Harry Glickman, the team announced Wednesday. Glickman passed away in June at the age of 96.

Glickman served as inaugural GM and later as team president before retiring in 1987. He received the John W. Bunn Lifetime Achievement Award from the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019.

The Blazers will begin scrimmage play in Orlando on July 23. Their first seeding game is scheduled for July 31 against the Memphis Grizzlies.
