The NBA’s restart is nearly upon us and teams from around the league are preparing for scrimmages later this week. In the Western Conference, it appears that the Kings’ road to the postseason just became even tougher. According to Yahoo Sports NBA Insider Chris Haynes, Marvin Bagley suffered a right foot injury during Sunday’s practice and received an MRI.

With De’Aaron Fox (ankle), Richaun Holmes (isolated after breaking quarantine) and Alex Len (arrived late to Orlando) already out, coach Luke Walton’s squad is facing an uphill climb.

The Pacers, unlike the Kings, are set to receive immediate reinforcements in the form of guard Victor Oladipo. The New York Times NBA writer Marc Stein revealed that coach Nate McMillan is confident that Oladipo will be ready for scrimmages later this week. The Trail Blazers open their three-game scrimmage schedule against the Pacers on Thursday.

Finally, it appears that Bucks wing Pat Connaughton is on track to join the Bucks in Orlando after testing positive for COVID-19 prior to Milwaukee’s departure. Connaughton released a statement regarding his plans on Monday.

Now in his second season with the Bucks, Connaughton is averaging 18.3 minutes and 5.1 points per game.
