It appears that Trail Blazers center Hassan Whiteside has found the trick to getting excellent meals inside the NBA’s restart bubble. On Saturday, through social media, Whiteside revealed that ordering from one of the six bubble-approved restaurants was the key to scoring a dinner that featured both chicken and lobster.
Whiteside’s haul from Del Frisco’s is a far cry from the dinner Nuggets guard Troy Daniels received when players first entered the bubble earlier this month.
The biggest question facing Whiteside’s meal: how did he get to the meat on that lobster with hotel-issued utensils?
The Trail Blazers start their three-game scrimmage schedule later this week with a matchup against the Pacers on Thursday.
