The pause in live on-court action has turned the spotlight to Michael Jordan’s legacy with the Bulls via ESPN’s ‘The Last Dance’ series. The docuseries focuses on the 1997-98 season, but it also features flashbacks to other points in Jordan’s legacy. On tonight’s episodes (five and six), the Trail Blazers enter the frame.
The trailer for Sunday’s new episodes features a clip of Jordan talking about facing Clyde Drexler and the Blazers in the 1992 NBA Finals.
Michael Jordan and Clyde Drexler were considered two of the best players in the league during the 1992 NBA Finals. MJ wasn’t having that.

Prior to meeting in the NBA Finals, both Jordan and Drexler dominated the regular season. Unsurprisingly, they finished in the top two spots after the MVP votes were counted. With the title on the line, Jordan was determined to prove that he was the clear-cut best player in the NBA. After six games and a three-point barrage that produced an iconic shrug, the Bulls had secured their second title in two seasons.
The two new installments are set to air tonight on ESPN.
