Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard is known for extending his range beyond the arc, as evidenced by his “Logo Lillard” nickname. In a recent interview with Ernie Johnson of TNT, Lillard teased that he’s ready to pull up from half-court when play resumes. Blazers head coach Terry Stotts says he’s “definitely prepared” for Lillard to let it fly:
"I didn’t say yes... I didn’t say no... but I’m definitely prepared for it" - Coach Stotts on @dame_lillard pulling up from half-court in a game.

“Before this whole pandemic, I think it was about a month before it happened, he was shooting it pretty easy from half-court and asked, ‘Coach, what you think when I come down and do this?’ I didn’t say yes, I didn’t say no, but I’m definitely prepared for it.”
Stotts added that, “If players practice those shots, and they’ve shown that they can make those shots, Damian has earned the right with his shot selection.”
