Gronk Headed to WWE, Which Blazers Player Would Thrive in the Ring?

Former Patriot tight end Rob Gronkowski is headed to the WWE, making the transition from the NFL to professional wrestling.

The NBA’s hiatus to help slow the spread the COVID-19 presents Blazer’s Edge with the opportunity to highlight the questions that often infiltrate the back of our minds and silly conversations. Today’s questions was spurred by Rob Gronkowski’s imminent signing with the WWE, a move that will take him from the NFL to professional wrestling.

With that in mind, which former Trail Blazers player would be an ideal fit inside the ring?

For me, it comes down to two choices: former reserve big man Chris Kaman and franchise villain Raymond Felton. Kaman, armed with a towering frame and a menacing beard, would rival even the biggest WWE athletes. Felton, is an obvious choice due to decade-long boo-inducing place as a heel in front of the Moda Center crowd.
