Coronavirus arrived in Oregon, and along with it, CJ McCollum of the Portland Trail Blazers has declared that he will not be signing autographs from now on. He took to social media following the confirmed case in Lake Oswego to share the news.
The Corona Virus has officially hit Oregon. More specifically Lake Oswego...Make sure y’all washing y’all hands with soap for 20 or more seconds & covering ya mouths when you cough. I am officially taking a break from signing autographs until further notice.

Sincerely,
CJ
While McCollum shared worthwhile advice on washing hands, he also shared a way to stop the virus from spreading.
Fist pounds > high fives. Cleanliness is next to Godliness. Stay germ free ✊

The CDC recommends washing hands frequently and following these five steps to handwash correctly.
Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold), turn off the tap, and apply soap.
Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap. Lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails.
Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. Need a timer? Hum the “Happy Birthday” song from beginning to end twice.
Rinse your hands well under clean, running water.
Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them.
Though McCollum may not be signing autographs for the foreseeable future to do his part in not getting sick, you can do yours too by washing hands and staying home if you are ill.
