A tired Miami team visited Portland in the midst of their road trip, while missing multiple starters and debuting new players with little practice time. It looked like Portland had a chance to grab a relatively easy victory, And that’s close to what happened, a 115-109 win behind the strong play of Damian Lillard (33 points) and Gary Trent, Jr (22 points).
Super Mar-Ankle Injury. Mario Hezonja left the game in the first half with an ankle injury and did not return. We will likely see an update over the next 24 hours.

Another Great Night For Gary. Trent, Jr is simply unstoppable from three recently. We’re now passing the point of randomness and this is becoming a trend; Portland may now have one more reliable rotation shooter. He was the only person off the bench to score tonight.
The Heat’s New Additions Have Mixed Results. Miami added Andre Iguodala and Jae Crowder for tonight’s game, but with little time to practice and integrate into the team. Crowder had a solid night, but Iguodala looked rusty. With both Jimmy Butler and Meyers Leonard out as well, it was a rare night where the Blazers are arguably more healthy and cohesive.
The Blazers finish their pre-All-Star-Break schedule with back-to-back games in New Orleans and Memphis on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
