Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard will join Team LeBron James for this year’s NBA All-Star Game. James selected Lillard during the back-and-forth process that unfolded with fellow captain Giannis Antetokounmpo. Last season, James also picked Lillard for the game that took place in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Lillard will join fellow guards Luka Doncic, James Harden, Chris Paul, Ben Simmons, and Russell Westbrook on Team LeBron.
The Feb. 16 showcase in Chicago will mark Lillard’s fifth All-Star Game appearance of his career. Along with the headline event, the former Weber State star will also participate in the Three-Point Contest. On the season, Lillard is averaging 29.7 points and 7.9 assists per game.
